Nepal Village Foundation (NVF) is organising Curry and Beer annual event on the Saturday the 26th of January 2013 at 2:30pm. Address is 178 Rotherhithe New Road, London, SE16 2AP. This year we have decided to organise the event in January to avoid the busy festive time. I hope this date will work well for you to enjoy the classic cookery by Carole and Krit. Like the last year, we will be cooking variety of curries that are suitable for all tastes and diets.
You all have been brilliant supporters which help us to continue the work we do in Nepal. Money raised from this event will go to organise an awareness raising street drama about the importance of girl’s education. We found out that there are many parents in the village who can afford education for their daughters but still there are many girls not attending school. So raising awareness about the importance education will increase girl’s participation in schooling.
A £20 of donation from each supporter will be an ideal to cover the cost of event and support the work however you can make donation of any amount. You can make donation online at www.nvf.org.uk or cash on the day and cheques are payable to ‘Nepal Village Foundation (UK)’.
