The Girl’s Education Project
The wider goal of this project is to improve the literacy level in the rural villages of Nepal. We have found that hardly one in five rural women are literate and the girls are forced into marriage in their teens. We have also found that children of educated mother are more likely to get an education and this leads to better social and economical status of the families.
Aims of this project;
Raise awareness in rural people about the importance of an education-
Provide support for the needy girls from poor and Dallits families who are unable
to afford education-
How much it cost?
£45-
£1500-
[Currently we are operating in only one village but our aim is to expand to the other villages
The more you give the more we can do so please raise your support today]
Educating girls is one of the strongest ways not only to improve gender equality, but to promote economic growth and the healthy development of families, communities and nations. [UNESCO]
Education gives people the skills and confidence to break out of poverty and build a better life.

Livelihoods Baseline Survey [Bhagawatpur, Nepal]
Hamro Samaj Nepal is carrying out an important livelihood survey on Behalf of NVF(UK) throughout a village panchayat called Bhagawatpur in Saptari, Nepal. We work in partnership with Hamro Samaj Nepal to deliver our projects in Nepal.
We believe the survey will be vital source of information to implement any projects effectively and efficiently this survey will also help us in more accurate budgeting, planning, decision making etc.
A sample of the survey questionnaire is available to download from the link below;
