Aims of the project

NVF works with the poorest families in south eastern rural Nepal in an area known as the Terai. NVF exists to improve livelihoods and sustainability, improve farming, improve health care, educate girls, improve literacy and a range of other activities aimed at improving the lives of the rural poor.

To achieve these aims this project is being developed to provide a learning resource centre in a large remote village. The learning resource centre will provide the following range of services to the community;

         Access to computers

         After school club

         Traditional crafts

         Games and activities

For women:

         Child health education

         Reproductive health education

         Nutrition and hygiene

         Literacy and numeracy

          Women self help group
