Namaste and welcome to our web site, we are an independent small grassroots organisation based in London. We work very closely with local NGOs and groups to improve the livelihoods of the Dalits and the poorest of the poor people in rural villages of southern Nepal. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in south east Asia where more than half of the population live under the poverty line. Daily average wages for unskilled labour is about £0.75. Nepal Village Foundation mainly focuses on empowering women, girls education, health education and training for mothers, sanitation, supporting farmers to grow better and more diverse crops and promoting eco-tourism for economic development.
Our Commitment
Nepal Village Foundations Board will ensure our partner organisations reach out to the most distant of the rural villages and make sure the poorest and Dalits families children are in school, have long term sustainable sources of income to keep the families going, shelter and clean drinking water and provide at least the most basic health education and training to reduce the child mortality, awareness about preventable diseases etc
Please make your contribution today to support our projects and feel good by supporting a good cause.
